I found Laura and the Barrett School through Facebook friends. So happy that I did! I played piano in my younger years and had the urge to pick back up the hobby. Laura has been fantastic in ensuring that I get a thorough understanding of music theory (again) and is very much a go-at-your-own-pace instructor. I was pleased that I was able to select what style of music I'd like to learn. I definitely recommend Laura and her team for any type of instruction at any age, whether that be piano, strings, or voice!
My son has been coming here for just over a year now learning to play drums. We both absolutely love Mr. Justin, my son does because they share the same taste in music, I do because he has the patience of a saint teaching a 10 year old drums. Highly highly recommend the school to anyone looking in the South Tampa area.
