First time at Star Nails and was very happy with the whole experience! I got an overlay of acrylic on my own nails and they still look very natural. Not thick like other places tend to do. Also got a pedicure and it was great and not rushed. I’ve never been to the first location because of the distance, but this one is in the perfect location for sunrise folks.
I’ve been a loyal customer here for as long as I can remember, and I’ve always tried to support this business. However, one thing that has consistently bothered me is how the prices seem to change often, with no clear explanation.
Today was unfortunately the last straw for me. I came in only for a polish change on my toes, which is usually $35 for me. Today, I was charged $50, and I was never given a reason why. What made it even more frustrating is that my friends came in right before me and were charged $35 for the same exact service.
