It's hard to find someone who knows how to cut hair with my texture but I've never had issues at Chop. Will continue coming back to see Yago as long as I live in the area. When I made my initial appointment, there were many questions on the intake form including my products, hair type, amount of time spent styling, length of time between washes, photos of my current hair and photos of hair I like. All of this information was evaluated by Rebekah before my appointment, so she already had a great idea of where I was at in my hair journey and where I'd like to be. The consultation was in depth and really helped to solidify my trust in Rebekah. As someone who has had trouble trusting stylists and have had bad experiences in the past with other salons, this process was extremely important to me. I knew Rebekah would handle my hair needs perfectly. After the consultation, she spent time cutting my hair dry and assessing where and how all my curls fell. She confirmed the length I was comfortable with before each cut. After a significant cut and shaping, Rebekah detoxed my hair, washed, conditioned, and provided a wonderful scalp massage. It was truly the pampering I needed as someone who never gives myself any me-time or personal care. After a wonderful wash, she walked me through how to use each product properly for the best result. She defused my hair beautifully and made sure I was completely satisfied with my hair before I left. We took before and after pictures and while my hair had a drastic change for the better, my smile truly spoke for itself. I have never felt better about the health and style of my hair.
