Today I met with Funeral Director Glenn Dewhirst at the Aycock Funeral Home in Hobe Sound to finalize arrangements for my recently deceased wife. Not an easy time for me.

I get that a funeral home is a business and that Glenn is an employee of that business, but there was NOTHING about my experience today that felt transactional.

Everyone was very caring and professional. They explained everything so we knew what was happening. A special thanks to Courtney in the office. She called me to see how I was doing and later on carried my mother's ashes to my car. We had a nice conversation.
