Keratin hair treatment review. I have always wanted to try a Keratin or Brazilian blow out. This is a Legitimate barber shop, this is not a luxury experience, but he did have wine, lol. The owner is Rick Sims, he has been cutting hair since 15 years old,.but he trained with Paul Mitchell and was an intern with him. My hair is crazy thick and I have a ton of hair. It is wavy and in the back underneath it is really tightly curled and is mega kinky. My hair still feels very thick, but not as much pockey, as my kids would say. My hair looks just like it would as if it was blown dried and straight ironed, so only time will tell if this worked. Rick said I'd need another treatment in 5 months. Keratin treatment update #2. I finally washed my hair for the first time since I had the treatment done (I only wash my hair once a week since it is so dry, frizzy and thick). My hair felt thinner washing it and I used less shampoo and conditioner. I didn't need leave in conditioner to brush through it wet. I towel dried it and let it air dry for 30 minutes while I did other things. It was blown dried straight in less then 5 minutes, not straightener needed. It usually takes me atleast 30 minutes if not an hour to get my hair this straight. I highly suggest getting a Keratin treatment from sims barber shop.
