“I had been suffering for 14 months after radiation therapy for laryngeal cancer . I have been admitted 3 or 4 times for severe swelling of my throat area and have been pretty much living on prednisone , no solid foods for the 14 months .I had gone to three different ENT Doctors only to be told it was all part of radiation and then if it got worse, I would need a trach and a feeding tube. After being admitted into Orlando Health Bayfront, I met with Dr. Pfaff. After some tests and a video Dr.Pfaff found why I was swelling all the time and got to the root of the problem, not wanting just to put a trach in me or a feeding tube.
