Today, Oct 24, 2023, was my first time experiencing the automated wash tunnel attendant. I have come to rely on a human being guiding me onto the conveyor; I guess it cuts down on personnel overhead. Anyway, after my Pipeline Club wash, I noticed the tire shine was completely missed on the passenger side of my SUV. I reported the issue to Steph in the office. He explained that it was probably due to being misaligned while traveling the wash tunnel. I appreciated his honesty. He stated his Supervisor usually handles manual tire polishing in such instances but was on vacation. He offered to let me go back through, which I was not really up for because I had already finished vacuuming and doing my windows. Steph then said, 'give me a minute.' To my amazement, he quickly returned with a cloth to polish the tires... it was as good or better than the automated tire shine! In a time where attentive customer service in many retail operations is sorely missing, I was impressed with Steph's willingness to go the extra mile to remedy my concern. I trust Woodie's Wash Shack Skyway will honor Steph for helping to retain customers through positive experiences.
So I went to Woody’s on 66th St. in St. Pete yesterday and the staff was very nice. The manager (Bryan) was awesome!! went over and above to make sure I had everything I needed, and even helped me wipe down my car.
