Although I always loved music, I accepted the idea that I was meant to listen but not play. Then about ten months ago I met the Whitney family at a social event. Gabe assured me I could learn music, so I started taking upright bass lessons. That was my dream instrument. Now, I am not only playing upright bass, but I am also learning the ukulele with Jennifer Whitneys ladies' group that meets every Thursday. Sometimes I want to pinch myself because I can hardly believe I am learning to play music! It is not easy for me, but the people at NoiseMakers are both patient and talented.
