Our family loves Jaqua chiropractic, I have been seeing Dr Kim for years and she is never anything short of amazing. From the warm smile when you enter the door, to the friendly conversation while your being adjusted, all the way to you walking out the door feeling like you were adjusted by a friend and feeling amazing. She has adjusted my whole family, all the way to my newborn. When she adjusted my newborn I swear it was magic, we were recommended to go ahead and have her adjusted because she refused to sleep on her back and hated her car seat. I've never been to a chiropractor before, hard to believe, right? A coworker suggested I visit Dr. Jaqua for an adjustment and overall wellness type visit. So glad I did! Here's what to expect: Location: Super easy to find - nothing confusing about navigating to the office. Parking: Plenty of free parking in the lot - steps away from office front door. Ease of Appointment: Dr.Jaqua worked around my schedule - not many doctors will see you at 4:30 on a Friday. Wait Time: Virtually no wait time. Waiting Room: Comfy, bright, cheerful and "homey" as opposed to sterile. Front Desk Staff: From the minute I stepped into this office, I felt welcome. Robin greeted me as if we went way back, so warm, personable and kind. I couldn't help but feel relaxed and at ease. Treatment/Consult: Dr. Jaqua listened to my many ailments and lengthy health history without judgement (wow!) while making suggestions and sharing insights along the way. I'm a big baby, so I was a bit concerned that the adjustment would hurt. Not the case! The special chiropractic chair has this somewhat odd dropping mechanism - it's part of the adjustment process. Dr. Jaqua prepared me and walked me through the steps as not to create an unpleasant surprise when applying pressure. I survived - piece of cake - and would definitely recommend everyone get adjusted. Payment: Insurance is accepted (I have Cigna), however if you don't have insurance, I believe the cash visit charge is only a few dollars more than the specialist copay rate, which is an awesome option.
