I came to Heather with an overly excited and reactive dog that would flip out every time we passed a dog in public because he wanted to say hi (especially on our neighborhood walks). I wanted the group training aspect of her classes so he could get used to being around a lot of different dogs with different energies. Heather gave me the confidence and taught me the skills I needed and he does much better now. I appreciate her direct methods and being real about training my dog because let's be real - no dog is perfect. The confidence building is a big one for me because I was avoiding situations with him instead of overcoming them. He is a much more confident dog these days and we've been able to participate in fun dog things like agility and scent work.
