Amazing facility. I would not take our pets anywhere else! Our little yorkie had a tumor that needed to be surgically removed. They had a cancellation for an exam date for her and moved her up for that and then moved her up twice to a sooner appointment for the actual surgery. They completely and compassionately understand the sense of urgency we were feeling to get that tumor removed and acted as quickly as they could to do so. Now THAT is a caring, professional company!! We thank them profusely for handling our tiny girl with such ease and grace. So far she’s doing great! ?

While on vacation I saw a kitty on U.S.1 in front of Walmart. I jumped out of the car about the same time another lady got out of her car with a towel. The kitty was flopping and screaming. She scooped up the hit kitty and handed it to me. In our car the kitty calmed by the touch and voice of my grandson. Near by is MRAH, my grandson and I took the injured kitty. We met the most kind and compassionate Dr. Nicholas. He examined the kitty and told us of her injuries, he had given her pain meds. The injuries were great and we made the hard decision. We transferred all our vet care needs here for our dogs and cats after not being happy with another vet practice in the area. This is a beautiful modern facility with plenty of room, boarding, etc and right off US1 and close to everything here. It's easy to get appointments and they've worked us in when needed for immediate care needs. The staff is GREAT and super helpful. We've met Dr. Wells and Dr. Nicholas and they are both very helpful and extremely competent. They take time with you and your pet and go beyond what we ever expected. We feel very happy that Matanzas River is our new home for great pet care!
