“When placing stone pavers I recommend you visit Weeki Wachee Stone Yard to buy their crush concrete sand mix for your base material especially if you live in Hernando County and surrounding areas where most of the area existing material is a silty sand material. The base they provide gives you a solid foundation for placement of your pavers with a small amount of compaction required. I have used strictly mason sand base material in the past and not have had good long term results, even after compaction. Mason sand is only good to be use for elevation leveling once your base material is in place.“
