Burgess Modern Day Warrior Karate

My daughter trains here and she really enjoys it. The coach is very good with the kids, I believe he works at a school outside of martial arts. Overall it's a great value and safe environment.

I have never been so happy that another flyer came home from school.

We signed up in February and it was a very new and unknown thing for us, then COVID hit mid March and I wasn’t sure where this would go, how it would pan out, how we would be in this since we were new to karate and let me tell you what ?? not one beat was skipped.

Burgess was on the ball. Zoom meeting classes were set up, canvas learning available for everyone at their belt level. There was definitely a proactive approach taken and it made us confident not to give up or quit because we couldn’t go in person.

My daughter(5yo) LOVED this dojo. Sensai let us do a week(2 classes) for free before committing to it. Great price for real training. We moved right before my daughter got her next belt and he let her test early to get it before we left. He also teaches discipline which is great for the young ones.
