I had another visit/appointment and wonderful experience with Dr. Lana McKinley and exactly like all of my other appointments, it went extremely well. I had several pre-cancer spots, not so great, but she finds them! They very thorough snout her body/skin checks! I really appreciate this characteristic about her!! She freezes the spots and it takes biopsies if required, and sends to the lab review/testing. Super thorough!! She was terrific!!! As always, she is extremely knowledgeable, charming, kind, very personable and had great bedside manners. the receptionist to Dr.'s Nelson and Nelson, I can't express how fantastic and easy they all made the visit for me. Scheduling was quick and easy, and the reception team went above and beyond to help me out, calling the other office and squeezing me in to work with my needs and schedule. At my visit, I saw both doctors, who were so kind, thoughtful, thorough, and most importantly- clear in their explanation of the process, risks, benefits, and costs. I have lived in the St Pete area since 2018 and have been struggling with various skin issues. I worked my way through two other dermatology practices (one was bought out and the doctors kept changing). Once I found Nelson Dermatology I finally found a doctor who is proactive, insightful, innovative, and truly helpful. My skin issues are on their way to full healing.
