American Legion Post 252

I'm a member of Post 5, USS Tampa, and that is a dry post. As such, I like being able to visit other posts and this is one of the best in the Tampa Bay area. If you're a veteran or come from a military family ask about becoming a member. Every post is different. They all have their own personality but they all support the same mission of helping Veterans and their families.

I went there for a celebration of life for a friend Carrie who had passed.The whole day was beautiful and saw a lot of friends that I haven't seen in quite a while.It was a wonderful celebration for Carrie, I felt that she was there with all of us.The VHW post did a remarkable job!! I would like to thank everyone that was responsible for the memorable day ? ? ?

Out of all the Legions , I have been to this is Number 1. People are friendly, great atmosphere. It is like being in your hometown where everyone talks to you. Always has great food, drink prices are great and always has great entertainment.
