That office is in need of a change and lacks proper management. Service officers are extremely rude and disrespectful towards each other. Plus it takes over a month for a service officer to return a phone call or email

Never in my life seen such an unprofessional organization representing veterans. Sent an email followed up by 2 other emails and phone calls in a 3 week period with no response. This DAV location needs help big time.Update 11/30/22: My complaint was escalated to the supervisor up in DC. I was transferred by the supervisor to another VSO but in Chicago. This DAV in Chicago’s last name is Melone and he hung the phone up on me once I asked him why he was fussing about handling my case. He said he was “passed the buck” and didn’t know why he was given my case. I ultimately decided to not use DAV.AVOID THIS ORGANIZATION FELLOW VETERANS!

Went to 2 BVA hearing at the St Pete location. Not only had they not reviewed my case, they did know my husbands name, TOTALLY UNPREPARED. Do not use. They are very disrespectful, as I sat there while my husband was in hospice, gave me dirty looks, offered no help in our case that goes back to 2010, and once I got to see my "rep", didn't know his name, or what was going on. Was suppose to be attending a BVA hearing THAT DAY.
