I brought my son here for an eye exam, and during the appointment scheduling process, I was assured that they accepted our insurance. However, after the exam, I was informed that they do not actually accept it. Additionally, when I inquired about pricing, I was told that their rates are standard and that I shouldn't expect any discounts. I attempted to discuss what is typically covered by insurance, but my concerns were dismissed dismissively.
The process itself was quite lengthy—taking about two hours, whereas it usually takes only 30 minutes in Melbourne. They dilated my son's eyes but did not provide any protective eyewear for sun exposure afterward, which was concerning. Overall, the experience was disappointing, especially given the miscommunication and extended wait time.

Don’t go here unless you have all day to get an eye exam. They don’t care about your time and do not understand what an appointment means (def. An arrangement to meet a Someone at a particular time in place). I waited two hours and a half to meet the doctor and never was able to meet him because I didn’t have all day to wait. Apparently, they over book their appointments to make sure the doctor is going to make plenty of money. In the meantime people just sit there and wait for hours to see the doctor. Terrible! Horribly managed!

My appointment was at 1:15 but waited for hour and a half. The doctors medical assistant was very rude with me and insisted that I have to have refraction and dialation when I didn't want it The only courteous staff there was the receptionist and person who was in charge of prescriptions.

Facility was clean and definitely made sure the machine was clean as well before my fahter in law started his testing. Would like to thank the staff from front to the back for their professionalism and patience with my father in law and the family as well. DJ, Lisa and Brandi were amazing and took their time with my father in law. That's A+ for me. Dr. Winslow was great in explaining everything to us. He was patient with my father in law and delicate with him as well. I would recommend him to anyone.

Im from Buffalo and while I was driving to our second home in Florida I developed floaters and light flashing, I have never been to Riverside and with a recommendation from a friend to go there I did a walk in and they examined me that morning, the staff was wonderful and the doctor spent quite a long time with me. I would recommend them to anyone needing eye care. I want to again thank the staff and doctor....

I had a 3:15 PM appointment. I arrived at 3:00PM. I was called by the Technician at 4:45PM then had to wait another 30 minutes before I saw the Doctor, then it was a rush from there for they close at 6:00PM could not make my follow-up appointment for the person to make it was not at the desk was told some one would call to the next day to schedule the appointment. It is now 5:35 on the next day but not have heard, but I guess it is still not too late.

Staff is great, however, the wait times are horrendous. I’ve waited almost 2 hours twice to see the Dr. absolutely ridiculous!
