About World Class Dentistry
World Class Dentistry in Sarasota, FL, is known for its focus on restorative dentistry that can truly improve patients' lives. The practice highlights the importance of healthy teeth for overall well-being. Dr. Morris and Dr. Bakke, both highly trained in esthetic neuromuscular reconstruction dentistry, have extensive experience and have taught at top institutions like the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Patients often praise the clinic for their accommodating approach and the comfort provided during even the most difficult procedures. Many share that treatments such as tooth extractions and implants are done with minimal discomfort, thanks to the gentle care and advanced techniques used. The staff is acknowledged for their personal touch, making patients feel cared for from the first phone call to every visit. One patient mentioned the holistic dental care offered, noting they received helpful aftercare information and felt at ease during procedures, especially with the use of ozonated water and laser technology. The clinic also offers benefits like massage options during cleaning, and their hygienists do an excellent job with teeth cleaning and providing advice for at-home care. They even suggested increasing vitamin C after wisdom teeth removal, which helped reduce inflammation and pain quickly. Patients often leave feeling satisfied and confident, able to smile again with renewed self-assurance. For those seeking high-quality dental care in a welcoming environment, World Class Dentistry is highly recommended.
My name is Jacob James Neagle and I am a real patient of Dr. Cameron Johnson. I wholeheartedly recommend World Class Dentistry to anyone that desires a holistic approach and truly a world class treatment. As of right now I have been a patient for over 38 months. I received my consultation in July 2021 and started my treatment in August of 2021. It is now October 4th, 2024 and I as of today had my braces taken off with just in 2 weeks from now having my final polish and presumably viewing the light at the end of the tunnel. I initially approached World Class Dentistry because as a professional live event painter I was finally accumulating the financial means to address the insecurities of my smile since I could not afford such a luxury as an impoverished child and earning my way in this life. My beautiful wife, Alexa, found this Practice after researching places that used holistic approaches, since that means a lot to us, and recommended it to me. At the start my desire was to hire them to fix my upper front teeth so that my smile appeared more “Hollywood” to others using high-quality veneers, assuming it would solve my main insecurity, but upon my initial consultation Dr. Johnson and his colleagues recommended to me the less expensive option by going the orthodontic route, to acquire braces since my teeth were healthy and that my smile was salvageable and they saw that I innately had a beautiful smile (despite me thinking otherwise). I was immediately impressed because they did not try to “upsell” me for doing the veneers (which would have been more expensive, by my guesstimation compared to what my braces cost out of pocket, which was approximately $8k). I accepted their proposal and trusted their guidance. It has been a long road, and some hiccups. Not to their detriment, but I attribute the discrepancies to my teeth being irregular and for me perhaps not being the ideal / perfect candidate. I initially had spacers for my molars, then a “double-quad-helix” to expand my upper palette. I have had many months of various band changes, and other methods, including band usages, to get me to where I am. I am so thankful for Dr. Johnson’s kind approach, not just in his actual care while I was being treated in the office, but how he worded his projections / expectations. Sure, we initially hoped for maybe a total of 20 months of treatment, but to gauge expectation he was careful and wise to not to give me false hope and I also a co-participant in this endeavor gave grace while walking this all out knowing, hey, my teeth are not perfect and I am going with the flow of it all. I know, among many reasons, that World Class Dentistry is ethical and does things right, because they did not rush me out. They were patient with me and took their time with me and what my teeth were giving them, even if it was not conducive to any business model. Most other practices (assumably) would have rushed me out by the 24th month mark. Perhaps I would have done methods that other Practices would have implemented that World Class Dentistry did not do, just to get me out the door to get another patient in so that they could earn the next buck. But they did not do that. Dr. Johnson notably told me a few visits ago “I am in it for the long haul” meaning: he wasn’t going to rush me out the door to do things right and to serve me well in the long run. Amen. As I previously mentioned, I had my brackets taken off today, and within 2 weeks from now I will have my final polish and the light at the end of the tunnel will have come. I say all this to say I am so thankful I chose World Class Dentistry. It is important to note that any medical relationship is two-sided: meaning the doctor must perform ethically, but even more prudently the patient has the responsibility to remain faithful they will continue to see it through well. I can confidently say I persevered, remaining patient throughout the entire process and so thankful to World Class Dentistry, specifically to Dr. Johnson as well as his right hand lady, Jenna.
Everyone who works at WCD is always so respectful, helpful, and kind! I just love the hygienist, Sarah, and would recommend her to anyone! ❤️
I have been a dental assistant for 23 years. I thought dentistry had taught me everything there was to know in the field. When I joined the World Class Dentistry team almost 3 years ago, I had no idea of the exciting educational journey it would take me on. I remember that “light bulb moment” sitting in our consult room. I endured a painful journey of 4 jaw surgeries over 10 years desperately trying to fix my bite and TMJ pain starting at the age of 18. None of which worked. I didn’t know I had other options. I simply did what the specialists I was referred to in my field of expertise told me I needed. After being told of needing a 5th surgery that could leave me with permanent nerve damage I gave up. Sitting that day in our consult room was a young girl, 18. I myself was still learning all that World Class Dentistry had to offer. Her father found us looking for an alternate option to jaw surgery for his daughter’s TMJ pain. I listened as Dr Morris explained our orthodontic growth program and how insufficient jaw growth contributes to sleep apnea, TMJ and a lifetime of tooth wear and damage. I listened while reliving every diagnosis I heard from specialists who never searched beyond their own box of education and specialty. And I saw hope for that girl. And so many others. Hope nobody ever offered me. I watched as this girl and so many others after her changed their lives with a non surgical approach that corrected the physiological aspect of their problem. I saw hope for my son who has visibly insufficient jaw growth from years of pacifier use. I listened to alternate options for others to go the non orthodontic route by doing Neuromuscular bite correction where Dr Morris uses EMG’s to find the bite balance between tense muscles and relaxed muscles where a patient can function comfortably in a position where the teeth work in harmony with the TMJ. I saw hope and change in so many patient’s lives. WITHOUT SURGERY! My world became one of education and excitement. After 23 years I felt passion for what I do. I’m using what happened to me as a tool to prevent others from going through what I did. I absolutely love my “job.” I love educating and helping others. And I feel genuinely excited when patients take their journey to fixing their bite with our office. I feel blessed to be a part of what these Doctors do for others....for the passion they’ve renewed in me.
