I'm very fussy about my haircuts. I have very short hair that requires a precise, stylish cut. I live in Washinton DC and get my haircut at an upscale Georgetown salon. Consequently, looking for a stylist when visiting Sarasota for several weeks was a challenge I pursued earnestly. Drew did not disappoint! He's very talented, well trained, experienced, and a very good listener. He gave me a great cut! I look forward to returning for another cut next winter...and I'll be very sure to book several weeks in advance as he is very busy!

Appointment setting process was painless (unlike the shop from which I wished to switch). Both are in the neighborhood where I live. For obvious reasons, I wanted to stay right here (obvious if you know Burn's Court/Pineapple/Palm Ave). Price quoted was higher than I pay for a simple, men's cut. When I indicated that to Drew and asked him to assure that he'll do a great job, he replied "Well I'm not able to stay here paying high rent by giving bad hair cuts". I thought that was an appropriate, clever use of humor. Truth be told, all simple cuts are not simply the same. The visit was a pleasure and my hair is just right.
