We found Chris Sukowski and Pear Tree Refinishers after weeks of research and phone calls to businesses who do furniture refinishing in the Sarasota area. Chris was responsive and very professional and within a matter of a couple of days of texting information back and forth, we knew we found the right person to breathe new life into our 100 year old free-standing chest, a piece I inherited upon my grandmother’s death. We opted to deliver and pick-up the piece ourselves but Chris offers door-to-door delivery. He recommended a brand of durable paint and we simply made the decision of a color after looking at numerous paint chips! Easy and fun. The end result was simply stunning. We are so pleased with Chris’ work and the chest now has a new home in our guest bedroom. I am walking into the room every few minutes to admire it. I may have to move it somewhere that is more visible so I don’t wear out a path into the bedroom :) I heartily recommend working with Chris and Pear Tree Refinishers with your next refinishing project.
