“I am very impressed with Professor Viera. My children have been doing Jiu Jitsu on and off for several years but have been consistent since August. We went to Siesta Key BJJ because he is closer to our house and I heard his students compete. My kids basically knew nothing compared to his students. The moves are sharp and technical, their skill far outweighed my own children… his 5 year old group was far more skilled and competent in both knowledge and technique than my 12 year old. “As a recent transplant to Florida I was looking for a gym to train Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at so I did my research of the area. I am truly elated that I found Martin Academy. Sifu LaVonne, Coach Ted, Coach Bruce, and Coach Mike are all around amazing human beings. Training here is truly the highpoint of my day, and I learn just as much from the instructors as I do from my fellow students.
