My review is related to FPG Urology. I researched Dr Kaplon to find he has great scores in Healthgrades. I called the office more than once for an appt with him. When I finally got through, I had to speak to a not so polite female assistant. She asked me to fax them my referral and medical records. Online submissions are not accepted. I also needed to send a referral in Dr Kaplon's name. Ok. I went back to my primary care doctor to get the referral changed and sent it in with my entire medical file. While I really appreciate the doctor's and most staff at the University Parkway location, the office manager refuses to call me back. The admin office never answers or calls back. The only way to get a call back is to call SMH Administratoon.

I’m not typically one to take the time to write a negative review, but would feel remiss if I didn’t do so when it comes to the experiences I have had with First Physician’s Internal Medicine and Family Medicine. No doubt there are probably some fine doctors in this practice, but the administrative staff and billing policies or lack thereof in this practice make it difficult to establish yourself as a patient, much less receive appropriate and timely care, communication from those at the front desk, or communication from the billing office.
