I have used Dickson Locksmith for many years to provide high-security locks for numerous residential properties I've owned in Manatee and Sarasota Counties, Florida. In recent years the lock of choice is Mul-T-Lock, for which Dickson is one of the only vendors around (because of tight key control procedures that the manufacturer requires). Dickson has always been prompt in meeting my needs, whether it's an installation or key-cutting. The best costs somewhat more than the average, but if your property is worth securing it is a false economy to go with a second-tier locksmith.

Call Dickson First!We were locked out of our business and called a different local company who, after 45 minutes, was not able to get in the front or back door and actually told us to "call Dickson, they have the newer more expensive tools, maybe they can get you in".Well, we did end up calling Dickson & not only were they more professional, they were able to get us in to the building within minutes of arriving!The husband wife team at Dickson were also very friendly and (although we hope to never lock ourselves out again) if we need another locksmith, we will definitely be calling the one other local companies seem to be referring the tough jobs to first.
