I turned my taxes in to be done in late March. Cavanaugh & Co. still has not completed them and not sent them into the IRS yet. This is ridiculous!! Never took longer then 2 weeks before. They have lost a client that has been with them for 20 years.

cavanaugh and Cavanaugh did my taxes last year and totally messed them up filed wrong returns to the wrong state and failed to rectify their mistakes after paying them $500 I am now left a year later after contacting them for the last six months that no other accountants will take my return or fix their errors so I’m out of luck I don’t know where to go Cavanaugh and Cavanaugh are the most unprofessional and pathetic company if I ever dealt with . Now the IRS is withholding $5000 from my return and won’t allow me to file another return until this is rectified I would give it zero stars but that was not an option I am contacting the Better Business Bureau as well.

My experience with Cavanaugh & Co was a complete disaster from top to bottom. Let me count the ways:1. They got my address wrong. They sent me some mail and it was returned to them but nobody mentioned this to me until I came into the office to sign my taxes once they were completed. All my documentation has the incorrect address.2. They spelled our last name wrong. I had to point this out to them too during a phone conversation after my taxes were completed.
