About Bobby Jones Golf Club
Bobby Jones Golf Club offers a unique experience, allowing visitors to enjoy the trails and scenic views at no cost. The courses, including the American and British Courses, are open for walking, running, and other activities from 7 am to 5 pm. While golfing is not permitted for non-members, the course itself has undergone effective renovations and is in good condition. The new practice facilities are impressive and ideal for game improvement. The clubhouse is a portable hut, but the catering staff is friendly and the food is decent. Pricing is competitive, especially compared to other area courses. Recent reviews highlight the course's good condition, with some sod repair areas on a few greens, and a layout that is fun and playable. The front nine features wide fairways and is easy to reach in 2 from most tees, while the back nine offers more challenge with dog legs and forced carries. Greens are rolling nicely, and staff is always friendly and accommodating. Practice areas are nice, with greens that are well healed despite being punched, and the course is flat and open, surrounded by a nature preserve with walking trails. Visitors often find the course peaceful and scenic, making it a great place to spend time outdoors, whether for a casual round or a relaxing day.
Good public course at a reasonable resident rate.
Course is in great shape, but the staff there try to move you along and rush you out the door. Lost a sale in the clubhouse when it closed at 5 and there were 50 people left on the course. Snack bar ran out of food before 4:30 when so many people left on course. They need to stay as long as people are there! RUDE!!!
