“Amazing service, called in without appointment Dumar took me in, set up expectations about possible wait times, I got there it was easy to get parking, came in was greeted by Elias, he was fantastic and super friendly and offered me some soft drinks, I came from training Capoeira and could not refuse to that so grabbed a complimentary Pineapple juice it was very refreshing. When my turn came I was able to chat with Oswaldo from Cuba, young fellow super friendly and attentive he did an amazing job.
The place looks cool, they have a huge TV, a little nice pool table where the kids were having fun and a little VIP area in the back for more extensive and exclusive services. I was happy to find some good latino style place to get my haircut because we know our style best!!! So highly recommend these guys here!!! Guatemala, Venezuela, Cuba, Mexico and beyond!!! “I don’t normally post reviews but i definitely needed to rave about Maverick. I bought my 15 year old brother and my 24 year old brother in to get cuts and a bread trim. Maverick hands down gave my brothers the best cuts they’ve ever had. They’re still talking about it and can’t wait to go back to him. One of my brothers didn’t know what he wanted so he put his trust in maverick… let’s just say, I’ve never seen a bigger smile on my brother’s face. Along with selling him some curl cream and it has held his curls so well! My other brother is really self conscious about getting is hair cut because he’s hair is thinning a little and maverick cut/styled it perfectly to make my brothers confidence skyrocket. “This is a great barber shop in downtown Sarasota on central avenue. It has a traditional barber shop feel to it. It's recommended that you book before going in, but if they're not too busy they also have walk in appointments available. I've alway been very happy with my haircut from Dylan. Prices run at around $40 which is on par for downtown Sarasota. They're closed Sundays and Mondays.“
