The pool deck on the home we purchased 8 years ago was seriously slanted and had wide cracks. This was due to the fact that the builder had built the deck completely on fill, and as you know everything around here is sandy which is not great for stability. Prior to purchasing home, the seller had some other company come in and pump hydraulic cement under deck to stabilize it... it didn't work worth a darn. Had Roy out and for 2,500.00 he and his crew jacked up the deck and stabilized it using bottle jacks which he cemented in place. He also drilled holes in the deck filling cavities with hydraulic cement. It solved the problem. Roy cautioned us that sometime in the future it may be necessary to do some additional stabilization work, but not for years... Fast forward 8 years. This year we noticed that some cracks had increased in size a small bit... Called out Roy and he said the situation wasn't serious at this time but the cracks would most likely keep expanding very slowly. We decided to have him and his crew out to do a bit more stabilization work, and to close up any cracks and fill any voids in the fill under the deck. The deck now looks great. It will need to be painted with special epoxy paint to completely hide the hairline cracks, but frankly is acceptable the way it is now too. I have recommended these guys to some of my neighbors whose decks were afflicted by the same loose fill problems, and without exception they were all pleased with the results.

Well my pool deck has been lifted now it looks like an old lady all cracked up with pimples all over her face or I can connect the dots and make it a domino or maybe a star but the job is done deck Has Lifted we're not going to fall in I just finished the rest right they did their job well thank you Artistic Concrete lifting and by the way they are all very nice and polite and just clean up after themselves

Artistic Concrete Lifting are a "mudjacking" company that have been operating in and around the Sarasota area for 25+ years. Roy LaBard, the no-nonsense, straight-shootin' owner gave me the best price out of the three other foundation repair outfits I got estimates from. He is also a damn nice guy. When I asked what kinds of up-charges can be expected in case of any mishaps, Roy said, "None, this is the price no matter what."
