“Rosie was the best nail techniciam I have ever had. I dropped by without an appointment to see if I could get an acrylic nail fixed that had split open during my trip to the island. She was super helpful and worked diligently to get it to a place where I would be able to function moving forward.

A week later I went back in to get the acrylic nails taken off and she explained the whole process to me and chose to use a tool to take off the nails instead of soaking my fingers in acetone, which I really appreciated. It turns out that the nails had not been applied correctly and there were a lot of issues with my own nail. Having gotten moisture underneath the acrylics. She walked me through the entire process to get my own nails back to to looking and feeling more healthy. She checked in with me constantly to make sure I was comfortable and to make sure it was not in any pain as she removed the nails.

Rosie applied strength builder gel to my nails and the end result is a set of nails that finally look healthy and feel so much better than they did before I arrived. If I lived in Sanibel I would go to her all the time!“

“Mary, the owner of Uska’s, is the greatest & among the very few but very treasured special gifts that I was truly guided to. I have been going to her Salon for over +/- 14yrs(we just talked about this too.. I forgot as usual). The entire staff is amazing! She has taken her time growing her staff. I believe it’s because she & her very close friend(more like familia), CiCi, have been together working hard & she just won’t settle for anything less but perfection. CiCi is the Queen of Mani & Pedi’s! She’s not JUST THAT(as if there’s a “just” in any sentence when you try to tell how good CiCi is)!! LOL! Never!! She is a “Nail Diagnostician”!! She won’t JUST polish your nails & make them pretty, although she’s got that in the BAG!! She could do that w/her eyes closed!! She see’s something that doesn’t look just right, in my case, I didn’t see anything... she is a straight shooter & wants you to have healthy feet & toenails as well as healthy hands, cuticles & nails. She told me immediately that I had the beginnings of a fungus under my toe... With her “Serious Abuela face on, she tells you what you need, has it in stock, shows you, & expects updates! 😄.. you won’t want to go anywhere else. How does waxing & Facials(yes, a list of ALL KINDS of facials), get your mani/pedi, & pamper yourself a bit more & get your hair done.... sounds like heaven right? Stop depriving yourself! You deserve it! We women need to give ourselves permission to have “me days” without guilt! What’s to feel guilt about? You’re going to feel wonderful this happy = those around you can be happy too or if not, don’t let them harsh your mellow, no cranky’s aloud on this ride.
Seriously, I’ve followed Uska’s Salon & Spa to 3 or 4 different locations. She IS that good! Have a budget? I KNOW that’s not a problem. Be upfront & she will still make you look amazing ticking most or all your boxes but keeping the price down.
