St Marks Outfitters provides a great time fishing on the flats. Captain Mike is a very knowledgeable and fun guide who knows the area and the good fishing spots, guaranteeing fish. He puts guests straight where the fish are biting, often resulting in a practically non-stop bite and big catches. He is kind, patient, and great with kids, taking time to educate everyone about the water and wildlife. The boat offers a lot of room. Guests consistently have a magical and best trip, highly recommend the service, and will definitely be using him again multiple times.
Captain Mike was a great guide! He was fun, knowledgeable and great with my 5 year old! We caught, trout, sea bass, shark and had our hand on a tarpon! A lot of fun! And a lot of room on the boat.
We planned a quick family outing with Captain Mike. A simple text reservation a week before arriving and we were set. We arrived to the boat ramp to find the Captain ready to go. Not only was he a great guy but he knows everything about everything down here to entertain and educate the kids. He immediately formed a relationship with them and made them all feel great about their first trip out. Truly setting an example of expertise and fun, after 12 days in a row working on the water, Capt. Mike guided us on the Boating adventure, informing us of history and putting us all on the fish! We caught Speckled Trout, Ladyfish, Bluefish, Sea Bass, Sail Catfish, Hardhead Catfish and a Lizard Fish! Then he took us to a sand bar in which we cooled off and waded around looking for starfish and sand dollars. On the way back, we found a school of baitfish and we lit up some ladyfish! We saw dolphins as well! There was nothing negative to say about this trip and Capt. Mike was absolutely a great person to be around. Thanks brother! We will be back in a couple of years to do it again!
