I live in Tampa and a few weeks ago my '03 Mustang GT overheated and broke down on I-75 just north of College Ave. I am knowledgeable and knew that the heads were probably shot. I visited or called 6 or 7 other shops in the area and but – by far – got the best vibe visiting Pablo and Brad Auto Xperts. I liked that you deal directly with the guys who do the work. Most of the other shops had a personable, knowledgeable "manager" whose job it is to win your trust and sell you services. Brad was helpful, friendly and a straight-shooter. After hearing about what had happened, he told me that I probably needed an engine replacement. (Others told me this too. It seems that no one does head work anymore, it's just cheaper to replace the engine; which is what they did. Pablo and Brad were always friendly and professional and did quality work in a timely manner. (They had to secure the used motor, which took a couple of days.) Their hourly rate is not the cheapest in the area, but not the most expensive, either. Of course, you seldom get quality service for the cheapest price and quality is always the best value. I could not be more pleased with my experience. So much so that I now consider Pablo and Brad "my mechanics" despite the fact that they are 30 miles from my home. I hope that y'all never need a mechanic, but if you do, knowing that you don't need to worry about finding a quality, trustworthy shop should help to minimize the stress of the experience. Oh, I forget to mention, they towed the car for free and provide good follow-up services. One of the sensors on the new motor was failing intermittently. Every other day or so, it would not start properly – so it was almost impossible to discover immediately after the install. When I called Pablo, he was very accommodating, telling me to come right in and he replaced the part free of charge.
