I recently used YaVel Roofing and Construction to replace the roof on my townhouse. The roof replacement was mandated by my Homeowners Association and each homeowner was allowed to hire whoever they wanted. I vetted over a half-dozen companies and ultimately went with YaVel Roofing and its owner, LeVay Smith. I couldn’t have been more pleased with my choice. First, let’s talk about price. A good rule of thumb with projects like this is to not hire the most expensive company, but also be wary of the least expensive company. We used Yavel to replace our existing tile roof. The entire project took under two weeks to complete (once the tile was ready from the manufacturer) and I was kept up to date throughout the process. Both crews, the crew that removed the old roof, repaired the damaged areas, & installed the underlayment and the crew that installed the tile, were very professional. Those specific supervisors explained the elements of their respective crew's work. Most importantly, we were very happy with the end result--an excellent installation and looking roof.
I would recommend this company because they did great work and are reasonably priced. They always answered our calls, came when they said they would, and provided us with pictures of the roof repair (which we needed for insurance purposes).
