I currently live in Silicon Valley, California, after I relocated to this area (following a brief stay) in Central Florida, back in 2021. I recently suffered through a series of traumatic life events, and so I attempted to reach out to Dr. Joel Shuy Psy.D. in my time of need. I wanted to to see if it would be possible to continue having sessions with Dr. Shuy, via telehealth appointments, while I'm living in the California area. Dr. Shuy was just as kind, caring, and understanding as he always has been. He permitted me to have sessions with him via long distance, and we've already met for several long distances sessions, via the phone, since I recently reached out to him. Dr. Shuy is truly one of the most gifted and knowledgeable Psychologists that I've ever had the pleasure of being a patient of. Dr. Shuy has helped me so very much in life throughout the years, and now again, he has helped me, substantially so, just in the few sessions that we've recently had.
