We had to travel for family setvices and Southern was so compassionate and helpful. Very nice people to work with and no high preasure selling. Talked to us about what we wanted and took care of all the details. Very professional and great communication. Family owned business makes all the difference in the world.
My husband passed away from a long battle with Alzheimers and Parkinson. The day he passed away was one of the most devastating days for me. I called the funeral home and withing the hour they were here to pick my husband body up. I was so impressed and greatful for the way the staff handle this sad and final goodby to the man I loved for 43 years. They gently move him into a gurney cover him with a beautiful quilt and put his head on a quilted pillow to get him out of the house. Then day said if I wanted to say my last goodby and they waited. He was then put on a van not a funeral car and that made this moment less agonizing for me. Then meeting with them was very professional....read full review
The sudden loss of a child is something I wish on no one. Mark and all the employees I encountered at Southern Funeral Care were sympathetic and patient. They arranged transport for my teenage son from Jacksonville, hosted a respectful service and took care of much more than I expected at a reasonable price. At no time did I feel rushed or unheard. I appreciate all you did for me and my family more than I can express.
