I've had a good experience everytime I've been to NY Hair Salon. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and nice. I've never been disappointed with my hair after going there.

Both of college age daughters were looking for a beauty shop to go to as we have just moved to the state. They both loved the shop the people and the time taken with them to get exactly what they wanted done. They both came out of the shop with a smile and happy with they cuts. I was pleasantly pleased with the prices.

I was a walk-in first time client . I asked what the charge would be for a cut. I have very short hair, non-ethnic. I am a senior on fixed income, so pricing is important to me. Ana quoted $18 which is what I usually pay at another salon I have used for years. This salon is very close to home so I decided to try it. I was told to return at 4 pm. I arrived on time, but waited about half an hour after my appointment. Not a big deal but a bit unusual in my experience. Before the cut I was asked if I wanted a wash.
