Just a quick shout out. I met Dennis 11yr.s ago he showed me how to get a pitbull to have perfect behavior so when I came across my next endeavor a troubled Shepherd / Ridgeback we knew who to call Dennis was over the next day he observed in new what to do we now have a wonderful dog who knows how to play for the first time and now also can trust
Dennis is an amazing dog trainer! I’m a first time dog mom with a Doberman Pinscher and he was truly giving me a run for my money. Before we started training, walking him was a nightmare, he'd constantly yank on the leash, distracted by any noise or other dogs. After just the first session, I could already see a difference in leash behavior. Now, he walks right by my side and his attention is only on me. His recall is amazing and he listens to commands so much better. If you're looking for a dog trainer, definitely call Dennis!
By far Dennis at Southwest K-9. Academy is hands down the best dog training we have ever been to. Dennis taught us about dog psychology, what makes a dog a dog. That changed our whole perspective on training and quite frankly our ability to let our dog be a dog and not a soldier. She’s happier, we are happier and are grateful for Dennis’s patience and knowledge. Please give him a try you and your dog will benefit immensely.
