I had a volunteer tour of the SWFL Horse Rescue facility. Therese was very informative about the history of the volunteer and the horses in their care. You can tell from the volunteers working, the maintenance and condition of the facilities that the horses are all very well cared for. I’m excited to get back into my horse rescue volunteer work after my move to SWFL. Went to this rescue today for a volunteer tour and it was such an amazing experience. Our guide knew everything there was to know about each one of the horses. They keep the stables and the paddocks were kept clean. They were getting ready to help a horse that was having an issue with their hoove, the gentleness of the men taking care of this horse was so heart warming. The horses love to see their caregivers coming and that speaks volumes. The care provided at this facility is absolutely incredible.
