I think Jami nailed it in his review. A challenging golf course with enough sand and water to require you to think/challenge you around the course. Combined with a few "open" holes, it makes for a good day if you are playing well (but tormenting you when you are not). Course conditions are good, commensurate with the cost of membership (fully private now). Combine that with friendly members, helpful staff and teaching pros, and it's tough to beat in this area. The cherry on top is the Lakeview Grill - solid food with prices that are very fair, and the folks who work there create the atmosphere.

Excellent value. Challenging layout, with tough, fast rolling but true greens and always in great condition. Knowledgeable and friendly staff with excellent practice facilities. Tiered memberships rates make joining available to anyone. Lakeview Bar and Grille serves great food and is a fun atmosphere after a round.

I love this place! Great atmosphere and staff! My only problem is if you take to long, the coarse police will push you to move along. I am a new golfer so I guess that is good for faster place players. I still give it 5 stars.
