First impressions are always the best. Warm and Friendly Staff, the Owner Mike is great and very knowledgeable, Classes are well Instructed, Structured, on a massive training area. Just started here, but excited to continue my journey with this club.
Great place to train. So Google asked for an updated review and I would this place is better than ever. More higher belts they added more mat space and there is a bathroom with a shower now. Sunday open matt at 11am open to all and very welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone looking to train in the area. If you haven't tried Brazilian jiu jitsu this is a great place to start the younger the better but they are very welcoming the people of all ages.
Due to work obligations and my folks living nearby, I had the privilege of dropping in at The Jiujitsu Project In Tarpon Springs. (My home gym is my beloved Oregon Pound -- Please visit if you're ever in Oregon!). I travel a lot, and the first thing I always do is find a BJJ gym so I can keep up with training. In all my travels, I have NEVER had a better experience than I did with these guys (and gals!). The level of instruction is detailed, comprehensive, organized, and effective. The instructors are high level, accomplished black belts who teach with humility and with high expectations.
