The dental assistant was amazing so knowledgeable and well educated. She explained everything clearly, she checked my insurance, she printed out a plan of care for me. The doctor was excellent.

It was a totally horrendous experience. To make a long story short there was a total lack of professionalism. The dentist has a very short fuse and dismissed my husband from the practice after having been clients for 3 years. Ellie the dental assist told me that we both had received sub par dental care in NH after we had both been patients of practices for more than 40 years respectively. Certainly less than professional. After checking with NH they are standing by the x-rays done this summer and do not support recommend treatment. Needless to say we will no longer be patient.

Ellie and their hygienist Francisca are great at the Port Charlotte location! They take time to thoroughly go over options and cost estimates answering all my questions. Francisca, who I’ve used twice really cares to give me exceptional cleaning that resolved my gum issues. They are the best of the best!!

It's a great dental office, very personable and friendly staff. The hygienist Francesca is amazing, and always keeps the conversation lively, with a great sense of humor and a special way to make you feel like you're family. It's the best dental office I have been to in this town by far.

I was seen in 2021had X-rays then January came around and I got new insurance they didn’t accept that insurance now I have cinga they accept that so I make a appointment go on Dec 3rd and they tell me I need a mouth cancer blue light test before they can do anything but they said your insurance don’t cover it so it’s $59 that our policy so I tell them I’m on a fixed income and don’t have it so she gives me another appointment for January when I have the money I go home call my friend she said what I was just there a few months ago they didn’t tell me this so now I’m pissed how can they refuse to see you if you don’t have this done well I will be finding another dentist any recommendations for a dentist I will have health springs in January which is still cinga

Went for a cleaning today and they said it would cost over $1400 over what my insurance was paying. , or they weren’t going to do it. Been with office for over 4 years. Said I needed an extensive cleaning. Always had cleaning done every 6 months. Brush, floss faithfully. Dr Houman even said I was doing a good job brushing and flossing, today as usual. New Hygienist Francesca and assistant Elle went for a massive upsell. Elle kept asking me if I were under stress and mentioning hormones. Then they tried to charge me for a cancer screening I never got when I was leaving. Absolutely Criminal what they are doing since they were taken over by conglomerate. To bad because I really liked Dr Houman and the front office girls. Time for a new Dental Office. Update, found a new dental office and they did one of the best cleanings I have had in 4 years. No $1400. Upcharge. So done with Waterside…
