I usually don’t leave reviews, except for restaurants, but what Matt did to my home today is worth sharing.

My house is a typical cookie-cutter home built by Lennar in 2021. After installing a Tesla charger, I noticed the main breaker was getting extremely hot and would trip frequently, so much so that I had to stop using the supercharger altogether.

Matt came over, assessed the issue, and recommended replacing the aluminum wires to the main breaker with copper. He also upgraded the system to handle a higher power capacity. About 10 days after Ian an electrical problem arose. Called Matt's needing a repair, and needing it quickly. His team showed up the same day. Took care of the problem, and di so at a very reasonable price. We were very grateful for their prompt response, good service, and reasonable pricing. They are on the top of our list the next time we need an electrician.

This is my 2nd experience with Matt's Electric. It is a family owned and operated company right here in Port Charlotte Fl.I always use local entrepreneurs when I need to hire for any service and I find it works best for all concerned. Faster service is the first perk I noticed with reliability a close second. Matt's electric was no exception and I highly recommend Matt and his family for top quality electrical service at a reasonable price. Keep your money circulating in the local economy.
