A different AC company diagnosed my unit as needing a total replacement, or I could spend over $1,000 to try to find a leak, plus add 5lbs. of freon and they claimed it probably wouldn’t work.
Instead I called Neighbors AC for a 2nd opinion from a friend’s recommendation. They sent their tech Quentin to double check my concerns. After showing Quentin the TXV valve that was freezing in my pancake unit, (also shown to the other company and ignored) he immediately went to work and within a few hours he replaced the valve and all other details it involves, also adding only two lbs. of freon to the unit. My AC is working again!
Neighbors installed 2- 10 ton heat pumps for our facility. And service our refrigeration and AC units. Great job! Their service manager, Charlie , is very professional and gets his team on site quickly.
