I was referred here and decided on a late Father’s Day gift to myself. I tried to do a walk-in, and after a brief discussion with an artist named Chris, he wanted time to rework my idea. He could reduce the lines and highlight the colors while still making the design pop. Appointment scheduled.I arrived a few minutes late due to the weather, and Chris (@theinkshrink) wasted no time getting started. He explained everything in-depth to ensure no surprises and that all expectations were met. Although I have a very high threshold for pain, he was very accommodating, which created a really nice atmosphere. The piece came out as expected, and I am happy. I would highly recommend Chris Depinto and... this location. ......Yeah... About this location. Wow. This place is spotless. Very clean. Artists are serious about tech, their products, and their artwork, and it shows. The staff was informative. Price is fair.Are you looking for that new tattoo? Chris is amazing. He did a beautiful mermaid for me on my back. I had my mind dead set on a different part of my body to have it done. He took the time to show me why it wouldn’t look right there, he was totally right, and we picked a different spot. He has an amazing vibe, he’s super chill and patient. I went in to see him again for a different piece. He took the time to go through a million photos of my ferret to find the perfect one to tattoo on me. He doesn’t rush you or give you attitude like you are taking up too much of his time. Some tattooist have huge egos, Chris is a humble guy. Check out his work. If you decide to chose him to do your work, you definitely won’t be disappointed.

Highly recommend Into The Woods, specifically Chris : )Chris was my tattoo artist both in Nov ‘22 as well as this May ‘23 for a total of 3 tattoos. I cannot speak highly enough about Chris’ technique, artistry and professionalism.As I am someone who needs a bit of hand holding, Chris went above and beyond to work with me and fine tune all 3 designs. The interior is clean, well maintained and simple. The secretary is very passionate and informative for each tattooist. I was assigned to tatiana, she Is very flexible for both on-site interaction or for zoom calling. Very pleasant and passionate towards creativity in a person's tattoo. I highly recommend this for both your first tattoo or your last. Solid crew all around

I walked in for a simple mermaid tattoo and Joe Casal helped me. He sketched out several sizes for me and explained how the lines would look over time. Let me first say, this was my first tattoo!Chris made the entire experience amazing! He was very patient in explaining the process, what to expect, made me feel very comfortable being a newbie. Took lots of time to get the design to exactly where I wanted it, adding his artistic touches too. I recently worked with Joe Casal @ Into the Woods where he did a photo-realistic tattoo (that was also a cover-up, see before / after). Absolutely excited with the outcome! I had an old tattoo that I regretted for far too long and I wanted something that would completely cover it up that meant something to me. After receiving a recommendation about Joe from a friend, I reviewed his portfolio and found it full of very impressive work.From the moment I met Joe at the shop, I knew I was in good hands. He was professional, took my input, gave great advice and created a final design came to be exactly what I wanted. (My wife and I are big-time divers in Florida and specialize in shark diving.)The end result is nothing short of amazing. The photo-realistic design completely covers up my old tattoo and looks perfect. The shading and detail are impeccable, and I've already received numerous compliments on it.
