“We waited until Winnie was almost a year old to write our review, and we truly could not be happier with her or our experience with Eagleridge! Winnie is a Gabby x Kylo puppy and she is my first dog!
We did the Trainee Program and brought Winnie home at 16 weeks, which I would 100% recommend. She came home to NYC fully crate trained, already knew basic commands, and had a really great foundation.
Winnie is the sweetest, most loving dog with the best temperament. She is incredibly friendly and loves both people and other dogs. She is curious and confident while also being so calm and easygoing. We live in Manhattan, so she is constantly around busy streets, elevators, tons of people and dogs, restaurants, random noises, etc., and strangers are always commenting on how calm and well-behaved she is, especially when they find out how young she is.
At home she is a total cuddle bug and wants to be wherever we are (preferably directly on top of us!). She is hilarious, playful, goofy, and has so much personality. She really has the perfect Golden temperament and is exactly what we hoped for when we started looking for a dog.
She is also SO beautiful. We get stopped constantly by strangers asking what breeder she came from or just telling us how gorgeous she is, which obviously makes us very proud dog parents :)
Almost a year later, we really couldn't have asked for a better first dog. It is so clear that Jen and Eagleridge put a lot of thought into temperament and early socialization, and we feel incredibly lucky that we ended up with Winnie.
We would absolutely recommend Eagleridge and the Trainee Program and would choose them again in a heartbeat!”
