Sunday morning we woke up to the toilet overflowing and it backing up into our tub. Later that day I was having my daughter’s bridal shower. I got on the phone and called about 15 plumbers and the only person to answer the phone was Bayfront, plumbing. I talked to Patrick and he said he would be on his way over. He work for two hours trying to figure out what was going on. We couldn’t use water or go to the bathroom. It was not the best day. He said he would come back first thing Monday morning. Thank you Spencer for job well done..fixed the pipes under my sink that I have had to fix at least four times over the years. His work ethic is very valuable!! Does his job the right way the first time rather than doing it quickly just to get it done. He sees the whole picture and does what needs to be done. Very thorough and very professional!! Overall a good experience, but here are the pros and cons regarding my service appointment.PROS: very professional and quickly diagnosed the issue with the hot water in about 15 minutes. The issue with my hot water heater was the Honeywell thermostat attached to the front of the heater failed; it needed to be replaced. They also provided a military discount on the labor which of course is always appreciated, but not expected.CONS: Honeywell thermostats for AO Smith water heaters can be purchased locally and checking prices seem to run about $125-$150; but their supplier apparently charged $235. The other thought was $300 for labor, meaning driving to get the thermostat...read full review
