After a horrible experience with another local vet clinic off Bauer Rd we decided to get a second opinion. AHP was recommended by another vet clinic and I am so happy we went. Our pup who had been diagnosed with only arthritis and a UTI, and us knowing better, was further diagnosed with a large mass consuming 50% of his chest cavity. Dr Straw was incredibly professional and articulate when explaining the findings. He put forth a plan for quality of life and unfortunately the outlook was bleak. We were really worried about our cat Obi. He had been throwing up a lot for about 24 hours and they ran X-rays to make sure it wasn't a foreign body and gave him some medicine to help him. The medicine and care worked so well that the next day, he ran outside and scaled a tree chasing a squirrel which is something he has never done before. We really are grateful for their help in making our Obi feel much better!
