I like this office but they need to do something about the wait time For the doctor to come in the room we waited way too long.

Called several times for an appointment and I was put on hold 30+ minutes each time. Some of us are at work during the day and can’t spend hours waiting on the phone. I eventually gave up and found a new primary care. This place is horrible. I’m honestly not sure if they’re even still open but checked the website and phone number and contact information I have is correct. Glad I never got an appointment. I can’t wait hours to see a doctor like other reviewers are saying. Go somewhere else.

I have been trying to call for an appointment since this morning 9 am. Is 3 pm and no answer. My husband and I have been with PCP more than 20 years. Service is the worst Since Merging with Cano. Dr Moises Issa if you are reading this, please help this situation.

This place I used to love. It has changed so much that you either wait on hold for 30 or more minutes or they just never call back, I’m a patient for over 10 years but You cannot reach them by phone, email, contact us on their website.

I had a telephone appointment set that the doctor did not keep. So I called 15 minutes later and was told that the doctor had called. This was a total lie as my call log confirmed. I was told that he was with a patient and wouldn’t have time to call. So I set up a new appointment for two days later and again I didn’t receive a call. What a shame that since Cano took over this practice it’s the worst office I have ever experienced. I have had other issues with them as well.

Not my best experience. Actually the worse experience ever. Customer service have an attitude all the time. You can't talk directly to your doctor;s office. It is a nightmare!Updated 07/31/2020

Very Disappointed! I have been going to this office for 15+ years and today i just found out Primary Care Physicians of Florida has now become caddle sweat shop Cano Health Care. Today, I did not received the same excellent service i used too.#1. You can no longer speak to the office directly, instead you speak to a Cano call center out of state.#2. When i walked in at 12:15 PM I notice i was the only patients vs 7-10 patients that used to be there when i arrived. Seems like patients have left along with my favorite Doctor Calvin Higgins, no longer working there. Seems like everyone is leaving. I wonder why..... Simple, the type of service they are providing. Cano Health-care hires people who recently comes from over seas.Personal experience today:My app was at 12:15 PM with Dr. Silvia Soto. I was not called in until 1:20 PM (1 hour wait).Once I am called. I get weigh like normal. Later lead to a room where a nurse walks in to ask what bring you in, annual check up. Later, i wait another 10mins for the doc to arrive. The Dr.Silvia Soto walk in automatically speaking to me in spanish. "Hables español? Que lo que te trae?" What brings you in? I tell her my concerns, meds i need refill, etc. She did not take the time to explain to me reason why i may be feeling a certain way. She heard me and later said oh ok we will have to wait for your blood results. She walked in and literally was out in less than 5 mins. NO JOKE 3-5 mins was in and out.Normally Docs from Primary Care walks in with a laptop, sees your patient history record with you, makes notes on your record, takes the time to explain what may be going on with your body etc. Nope, not Cano Health doctors. Im no longer going back......Cano just lost another patient.Whoever reads this, I heard Dr.Calvin Higgins is now working across the street next to IHOP.Once again I feel very disappointed with the service I received. Sad to see Cano Health Service is taking over many office. The Wal-Mart of health care.

Today was my first visit at the Memorial Hospital West location. I've been associated as a patient with this group for years out of their office located on University, across from Memorial Pembroke. I arrived for my 10:45am appointment after fasting since the day before to allow for labs to be drawn. I was called within 5 minutes after updating my paperwork.I was taken to a room to await the doctor. Before departing, the nurse informed me the doctor would be in soon as I had one person ahead of me. The time is now 11:00am. After approximately 20 minutes, the nurse popped her head into my room to tell me the doctor was almost done and would see me soon. The time is now 11:20amLater, I hear someone ask in Spanish if someone was in room 5 (my room) and they knocked on the door. I acknowledged and heard them say, "Is someone is in there". The time is now 11:45am. I'm really hungry now and getting angry.I continue to entertain myself on my phone when I start to think that this is taking a bit too long. I thinking I'm gonna stand up and peek out into the hallway. I contain myself because I didn't want to be "that guy". I look and it's 12:05pm. My phone is blowing up because my lunch group is waiting for me for over 30 minutes. At approximately 12:10pm, the nurse pops her head into my room informing me the doctor is just finishing up and will be with me in a minute. I stood up and said, "No disrespect, but I dont need this. I'm not dying and was only there for an annual physical. I'm outta here..." The poor young lady looked alarmed. She attempted to tell me the doctor was coming. I'm thinking, so is Christmas. When I exited the office, I told the receptionist to toss my file because I was leaving. She looked more startles than the nurse. I told her I wasn't seen and was leaving. This was done civil of course as I never embarrass myself in public.Long story short, they forgot about me. I was wondering if they would take their 2 hour office lunch and actually leave me in there. That didn't happen. Do not visit this group. Organizational culture like disease is contagious. Find somewhere else to go if you want a group that puts the patient first. Good luck! PS...lunch was amazing!!!
