Our cat woke us up about 530am and was in serious distress on a Sunday. This office showed opening at 7am. We drove 35 min and waited for 7am vs the destin 24 hr e.r. that was almost 2 hrs from us. 7am we walk inside for them to tell us a vet wasnt available until 9-10am. We asked was there anyway they can call someone because hrs are listed as 7am. Answer was no and they couldn't assist at all. We began our drive to the destin e.r., unfortunately our cat passed away 13 min from them. Please update hrs that are actual available to assist animals so ppl can make decisions that best meet their needs.

I needed a vet in the area and was referred here and they didn't disappoint. So caring and kind from the moment I called to moment we left. They took great care of our furry loved one.

Dr. MATT LeBleu did a great job taking care of our “English cream Golden Retriever”: Zsa Zsa GABOR. I’ve brought my English Bulldog: QUEEN PETUNIA here too and our Great Dane: “Boudin” this place takes care of pups and people. Thank you, Jonny Bootla

I called ahead of time for an emergency appointment and was able to right in to have my dog seen. The staff was very helpful and nice. The appointment was quick, got right in, my dog was helped and we went home with some medications and a cone of shame!

What a wonderful place to take you babies in their time of need! Everyone that I came in contact with was well informed, caring and very eager to help. Also, my pet was able to been seen quickly and the center was equipped with an ultrasound to help pinpoint the problem. I am very grateful to the staff for being able to help find the answers to my questions and I will always recommend Animal Care Center.

Everyone was very pleasant and welcoming. The emergency appointment was quite expensive, but you must do what you have to do to get your pet well.

While I recognize services are provided in order to generate revenue, at no time do I believe medical/health-related care for humans or pets should prioritize money over care of the patient which is what occurred here. I was concerned my Gypsy had ingested a branch from a toxic plant in my neighbor's yard which could have been tested with one enzyme level. Instead, $334 later, they did comprehensive health panel and recommended a rx that she did not even need. Receptionist was friendly. The waiting area and exam room was very clean.

I believe my dog was close to death's door. They took her right in, put her on oxygen, assessed her, and then the Dr came in to explain everything in detail including the proposed treatment plan. She stayed overnight receiving iv fluids, steroid, and antibiotic treatment. On discharge the instructions were clear and concise. From start to finish I am thankful to the staff for giving me my dog back in her normal condition. She's 2 days out now, has traveled over 200 miles, and has been walking eating and drinking per her usual prior to her crisis. She's also back to her usual barking bossy self. I was resigned to losing her she'd been so ill. I am overjoyed at her recovery. I have bragged to everyone we've met the last 2 days on the care she received and what a difference the skilled, competent care made for my little yorkie, Sophie dog.
