“Dr. Newman is a truly caring and incredibly knowledgeable holistic doctor. Most physicians are concerned only with solving health problems once they have occurred, but Dr. Newman focuses on optimal health and preventing problems. I went to see him for acupuncture for lower back pain, but I received much more than that. Dr. Newman spent an hour with me going over my previous bloodwork and discussing my back pain. I found the acupuncture and cupping to be very therapeutic, and after my visit, Dr. Newman emailed me a comprehensive summary of our discussion and his recommendations for supplements and lifestyle modifications. He also ordered an in-depth prescription for more blood tests, things that most doctors do not check. On my second visit, he went over those results and explained what each test meant and how it related to overall health. When some levels were within range but on the low or high end, he gave suggestions for making them optimal - again, focusing on preventing future problems. After the second round of acupuncture and cupping, he sent me another detailed email based on my more recent bloodwork.
