Was seen for an ear infection and strep throat. APRN suggested a Covid test to rule it out, but did not tell me there would be a fee. It's the principle. Had I known I would be charged for that test I would've used one of the tests I had at home from USPS.

I'm very disappointed with recent experience with your office. I've been waiting to be seen for several months now and I feel like your office doesn't even care about their patient's health. My initial appointment was on December which I had made in October. A few weeks before my appointment, I was rescheduled because I was told that the doctor wasn't available. I can understand that things happen especially during the holidays so I am ok with the reschedule. However, the office called me again to tell me the doctor wasn't seeing new patients on my rescheduled date. Now, I'm getting upset since they were the ones that selected the reschedule date for me. I was rescheduled two additional times pushing my appointment out to end of February. I was also given an appointment to a location more distant from my initial appointment, but the distance was fine to me. Today is February 28th and I'm excited for my appointment. I took the afternoon off from work and I drove 30 mins to AdventHealth Medical Group office in Palm Harbor. I waited patiently to be checked in by the administrative nurses as she was with the another customer on the phone. When I was finally called to check-in, I was told that they didn't have an appointment for me. What made me upset the most was that they wiped their selves free of blame by saying they called me and left a message. I didn't receive any email, text message, or voicemail of this change in my appointment. How can their office even say they called me when they are telling me the same time that they don't have any notes? They blamed the error on their system and simply said they were sorry. They told me they can refer me to another MD and I can try my luck with them or they can set another appointment... really? It doesn't make sense to me to be seen 6 months later from initial contact. I get that medical professionals are busy folks but keep in mind that our time and our health is also important. This very unprofessional! Consider re-evaluating the way your office operates. Keep in mind that poor reputation and dependability travels very fast in the community and online!

The doctor lie to you about the meds they say they will write fou, then nurses wont call for them. The food is inedible. The rooms are kept freezing for the nurse & other staff. The only caring people you will find here are you family. Drive on by. Mease hospital country side is only 7.5 miles away.
