I just had my second mohs surgery, which was not easy, but Dr. Kim and her team did an outstanding job of getting me through 11 pathology check, numerous numbing injections, total anxiety and basically scared to death of the results! The check in went quickly and the receptionist was so nice, obviously observing my terrified posture. I was taken to the procedure room and the staff did everything humanly possible to relieve my anxiety and quickly numbed the area. I was completely sedated for my first mohs surgery performed expertly by my ENT facial plastic surgeon so now imagine my fear at being totally awake, albeit numbed, for an extremely critical surgery near my eye. At one point, between sobs, my surgeon asked where I hurt and when I responded my eye burned, she applied numbing drops which stopped the pain ASAP. This is how the entire 10 hours was spent here. Every single step of the way, they asked if I had any pain and addressed it ASAP. When my anxiety ran rampant, one of the ladies held my hand and suggested we take a break and have my husband come back in the room to sit with me! This practice absolutely blew me away with their professionalism, compassion and kindness. We drove an hour+ to another branch of their practice because the 10th report still was positive and after numbing me up again and another sample taken, it was NEGATIVE and I wanted to stay with Dr. Kim and her staff until I was cleared. You have no idea how much these medical angels mean to me after my ordeal. I have no reservations in highly recommending PH DERMATOLOGY, Dr. Kim and her staff when you need help. Seriously!
